On Sunday, a young man attempted suicide by jumping from the third floor of the multi-storey building of the civil court. The lawyer and policemen present there saved him. The wife had filed a case against the youth living in Mumbai in the Chowk police station two years ago. In this, the date of settlement between the two parties was fixed in the Lok Adalat on Sunday. The police is interrogating the young man and the woman.
A young man from Navi Mumbai was married in Chowk. Shaba had filed a dowry harassment case in 2021 at the Chowk police station. The police filed the final report in the matter. A date was fixed for its acceptance in the Lok Adalat on Sunday.

On Sunday, both the parties had reached there at 10.30 am to record their statements. Shortly after this, there was again a dispute between husband and wife. The husband wanted to take her to Mumbai, while the wife wanted to stay in Lucknow. Controversy increased on this. The angry young man threatened the wife that he would commit suicide. At around 12.30 pm, he climbed over the railing to jump from the corridor connecting the two parts of the third floor of the multi-storey building.
Meanwhile, the police and lawyers present there caught him. His body was on the other side of the railing. Had there been some delay, he would have been straight down. SI Rakesh Chaurasia of Wazirganj took the youth to the police station. Where Chowk has been handed over to the police station after initial investigation.
